Designing a meaningful work of art

Designing a work of art is always a pleasure. For me, the experience of designing and making something deepens when the end result has a special meaning. For instance:

• A work of art in memory of a loved one: a pet or a person.
• Something made to end an important period in your life in a conscious way.

For example: Gonzo

I love working with textiles. After my cat Gonzo had passed, I made a quilt that featured the colours of her fur and the purples and blues of the Muppet character she was named after.

Meaningful design session

If you like, I can support you to make a design that will be especially meaningful to you. We can schedule an hour in which we discuss how you might design a work of art in memory of someone, or to conclude an important period in your life.

You tell me your story, and together we’ll find out what kind of design would reflect this for you – in whichever material you want to work with.

My intention is that one session of one hour (in English or Dutch) is enough for you to continue on your own.

Scheduling your Design Session

• Choose a day and time for your online Design Session in the schedule below. The time should adjust to your time zone. My time zone is CET (The Netherlands).

Payment

• Pay at booking through PayPal, or with a credit or debit card (also via PayPal, but you don’t need an account).
• Or choose to pay after booking, by bank transfer or through your PayPal account. The details will be in the confirmation e-mail you will receive.
  Please note that the appointment is definite only after you paid. If you haven’t paid 24 hours before the chose time, I will consider the appointment to be cancelled.
